Biography:
Kevin G. Couloures, DO, MPH, FCCM is a clinical professor of Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine with research interests in medical education, communication, extracorporeal life support, renal replacement therapy and procedural sedation. He received his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences and trained in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine at Los Angeles County+USC. After residency, he received training in pediatric nephrology at Cedars-Sinai Hospital followed by additional training in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at AI duPont Hospital for Children. During this time, he completed his Master’s in Public Health at the Bloomberg School of Public Health. His Capstone project was completed under the tutelage of Peter Pronovost, MD on the safety of Procedural Sedation. He has held faculty appointments at the University of Oklahoma, Yale University and is currently a faculty member at Stanford School of Medicine.
